Invincible season 4 episode 7, titled “Don’t Do Anything Rash,” premieres on Prime Video in the US on Wednesday, April 15, at 3:00 a.m. ET. That puts the new chapter at 12:00 a.m. PT, 1:00 a.m. MT and 2:00 a.m. CT, with the season now down to just two more episodes after it.
The timing matters because the last episode left the story in motion and out of breathing room. The Viltrumite War had already gone from zero to sixty quickly, with the Viltrumites attacking Talescria after Grand Regent Thragg’s mole shut down the planet’s defenses. Allen, Tech Jacket and Great Thaddeus tried to protect civilians, while Nolan and Oliver watched over Mark Grayson as he recovered from his near-death fight with Conquest. Oliver forgave Nolan for not seeing him on Earth and for saying his mother, Andressa, meant nothing to him, and Mark eventually woke up enough to rejoin the fight. By the end of that episode, Thaddeus was saying it was time to attack Thragg before his forces could join him, and the heroes were heading to the Planet Viltrum.
That leaves episode 7 arriving not as a reset, but as the next push in a war that has already accelerated hard and is moving toward its next confrontation. The series is deep enough into the season that there is no room left for setup, and fans of the Invincible comic book have waited longer for this material than the show has taken to reach it. The question now is not whether the fight continues. It does. The question is how much damage will be done before the season’s final two episodes close it out.
