Celebrity Jeopardy! did not air on Friday, April 3, and viewers got a repeat of the Rachel Dratch episode instead. The break came after three weeks of competition, leaving fans to wait until April 10 for the next round.
That pause matters because the bracket is already taking shape. Katie Nolan, Steven Weber and Sean Gunn have won their quarterfinal games and moved on to the semifinals, while three more quarterfinal winners will join previous seasons' winner Ike Barinholtz, Lisa Ann Walter and W. Kamau Bell. Fans will not know who the fourth semifinalists are until April 10, when Mina Kimes, Andy Richter and Tim Simons are set to compete against one another.
The official reason for the April 3 repeat was not given, but some viewers on social media guessed the break was tied to Good Friday and the Easter holiday. One Reddit user asked whether the on-screen guide was wrong after seeing a repeat of the Rachel Dratch episode, while another fan called it a likely holiday-weekend rerun. A third pointed out that television often leans on repeats around holidays, though the regular Jeopardy! franchise itself typically does not take a night off unless it is preempted or the show is in its summer hiatus.

Jeopardy! shared an April rundown on Instagram that shows the spinoff returning for quarterfinal games No. 4 and No. 5 on April 10 and April 17. There will not be another Celebrity Jeopardy! episode on April 24, and the reason for that gap has not been explained. One more quarterfinals episode is scheduled for May before the three semifinals and the final game, which means 15 of the 18 all-star contestants are covered in the current schedule.
The short break does not change the larger shape of the competition. It simply delays the next answer by a week and keeps one more semifinal place open a little longer than viewers expected.
