Zendaya arrived at the Euphoria season three premiere in Los Angeles on April 7 wearing a black backless halter Ashi Studio SS26 Couture gown and a new bob styled in a chic wet look. The 29-year-old also showed off her subtle T tattoo, a small detail that landed with extra weight because Tom Holland was not with her at the event.
She posed for photographs and caught up with Hunter Schafer, Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi and Sydney Sweeney, turning the premiere into a reunion as much as a red-carpet moment. For fans who have followed Zendaya and Holland since their Spider-Man years, the visible tattoo read as a quiet nod to the relationship that has long stayed mostly out of view.
The pair were first linked publicly through Spider-Man projects before their romance was confirmed, and they later deepened the symbolism with matching initial tattoos on their rib cages ahead of their engagement last year. Tattoo artist Lily Jarnryd said in Jan. 2025 that they were lovely to meet and that it was a lot of fun, adding a bit of color to a detail the couple has otherwise kept close.

Zendaya explained that instinct plainly on April 1, when she said on ' Modern Love podcast that there is a parasocial investment in her personal relationship and that she tries to keep parts of it private. She said she understands the public interest because both she and Holland grew up in front of people, but also said, “In a lot of ways, I’m also a very private person and I try my best to be able to have things for myself and for him as well.”

Holland has shown that same affection in public before, including a Sept. 1 birthday message that called her “My MJ” and ended, “Gimme a call when your up xxx.” At Tuesday’s premiere, the message was not spoken aloud, but the tattoo was on display, and the answer to the small mystery was there in plain sight: Zendaya was making room for the role, the event and the relationship at the same time.
