Riven Tides has washed up on the western coast of the Rust Belt, adding an abandoned shoreline, the Exodus port and the Panorama Azzurro hotel to Arc Raiders as the latest update lands. The arc raiders update also puts a new floating ARC machine, the ARC Turbine, into the skies above the coast, where it patrols with defensive abilities that create a different kind of fight.
The new minor map condition, Beachcombing, gives players a reason to comb the sand during a session, and the Dockmaster's Detector can uncover buried loot beneath the shoreline. The Last Resort event runs through May 25, converting XP into Merits as players move across any map, while hidden Miniature Ship Models also carry Merit value depending on rarity. Players can unlock three pages of rewards, including the Junior Outfit, Hydrologist backpack, Hose attachment, Brass Faucet charm, new emotes and 250 Raider Tokens in total.
Riven Tides arrives as part of Arc Raiders content updates rather than as a standalone release, extending a stretch of coast that had already been abandoned twice before. The western shoreline was left behind during the Exodus and later by survivors of the First Wave, who failed to hold the exposed settlement against ARC. That history gives the new map its edge: this is not just another destination, but a place that has already been lost and is now being picked over again.
That sense of scrap-built survival runs through the new Raider project, Avian Alarm, which asks players to build a makeshift security system that can sense tremors and atmospheric changes. Players also deploy cages at buoys along the Riven Tides coastline to catch birds for the project, and completing all five stages earns the Dockmaster's Detector, Gel Patches, the Bird House backpack attachment, the Fist In Air emote and 250 Raider Tokens in total. On launch day, Riven Tides brings the Solare Set and the Rachetta Set, with the Corsaro Set, Castaway Set and Sandveil Set set to roll out across the month of May. The update is doing two things at once: widening the world and turning that coast into a place players will have to work to survive.
