Yungblud opened his sold-out 2026 North American tour in Sterling Heights, Michigan, on Friday and followed with a second show in Toronto on Saturday, but the run hit an immediate snag as two upcoming dates were pushed back.
He played 12 songs in Sterling Heights and 14 in Toronto, mixing singles from his 2025 album Idols such as Zombie and Lovesick Lullaby with My Only Angel from his collaborative EP with Aerosmith. He also performed his cover of Black Sabbath's Changes and dedicated it to Ozzy Osbourne at both shows, while fans interacted with him throughout the set and he performed shirtless on stage.
The postponements affect the Columbus show originally set for Monday, May 4, and the Indianapolis show scheduled for Thursday, May 7. Indianapolis has been moved to July 28, and Columbus to August 2, while the Cincinnati date on Wednesday, May 6, was still on and the tour was due to continue Saturday, May 9, in Minneapolis.
Yungblud said he hated having to say it, but that the shows had to be rescheduled because of unforeseen circumstances, and told fans to look after themselves, adding that he and the band would be back later this summer to give them the show they deserved. The first two nights also underline why this tour is drawing such attention: the setlists are heavy on his recent material, and Changes has taken on added weight since he won a Grammy for Best Rock Performance earlier this year for the same cover.
Tickets to the remaining dates were listed through Ticketmaster verified resale or StubHub, and the question now is not whether the tour can continue, but how quickly Yungblud can reset after two early delays and keep the sold-out run moving through the summer.
