Coachella 2026 will be a year of firsts at the top of the bill, with Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G set for headliner debuts at the festival. Karol G will become the first Latina to take top billing at Coachella, a milestone that gives this year’s lineup a place in the festival’s history before the gates even open.
Among the other acts drawing early attention are Young Thug, Katseye and Geese, while Dijon is set for Friday and Gigi Perez will make her Coachella debut on Sunday night, just before Karol G and Young Thug take the stage. Perez, who has spoken of “flower crowns,” arrives in a slot that puts her directly in front of one of the weekend’s biggest crowds.
The lineup also brings back familiar names. The xx will return after last playing Coachella in 2009, and the group says, “This is the start of a next chapter together,” as it prepares to revisit songs from 2012’s Coexist and 2017’s I See You. The Strokes are also coming back, adding another returnee to a bill that leans hard on both nostalgia and new ground.

There is fresh history, too. BINI will become the first Filipino group to perform at Coachella when it plays Friday, following the release of the double single Honey Honey and Unang Kilig. Rusowsky will also step onto the festival stage after releasing his debut album Daisy, while the Baltimore hardcore crew returns after its 2022 appearance set off giant mosh pits. By the time the weekend ends, Coachella 2026 will have delivered exactly what its lineup promises: debuts, returns and at least a few moments the festival has never seen before.
