Beanie Feldstein is expecting her first child with wife Bonnie-Chance Roberts. The actor revealed the news on Instagram on May 4, sharing that she is pregnant with the couple’s first baby.
The announcement lands two years after Feldstein and Roberts married in 2023, and more than three years after they made their engagement public in June 2022. Roberts, a film and television producer from England, has worked on projects including How to Build a Girl, Mary Queen of Scots and Bridget Jones’s Baby.
The couple’s relationship has unfolded in public for years. They met on the set of How to Build a Girl in 2019, where Roberts was a producer and Feldstein played the film’s lead. They made their red carpet debut together at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of the film that September, and Feldstein later marked Roberts’ 30th birthday with an Instagram tribute in December 2020.
That shared history has remained part of the story around their marriage. The pair tied the knot on May 20, 2023, in a summer camp-themed wedding in New York, a choice Feldstein linked to her own family’s long relationship with camp. She said she grew up going to summer camp for 10 years and that both sets of her grandparents and her parents met there, calling camp “a lineage of love” through her family. She also described the wedding as “a truly beautiful emotional homecoming.”
The new post adds the next chapter to a partnership that began on a film set and has stayed visible through appearances, interviews and social media. For Feldstein and Roberts, the pregnancy follows a relationship already marked by work, family history and a wedding built around the place that meant most to the bride.
