Jeff Creighton has stepped in to face Jason Jackson on the Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano card after Lorenz Larkin was forced out with an injury, Most Valuable Promotions said Monday. The welterweight bout is set for May 16 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif., and will air on Netflix.
Creighton arrives with a 12-2-1 record and a recent LFA victory over Diego Bianchini in November 2025. He was part of the TUF 33 cast, scored an early win over Andreeas Binder and then lost to Rodrigo Sezinando in the next round before leaving the tournament without a UFC contract.
Jackson brings the bigger name and the heavier recent mileage. The former Bellator welterweight champion has lost two of his last three fights, including a close split decision to Thad Jean in his most recent PFL outing and the decision to Ramazan Kurmagomedov that cost him his Bellator title.
The fight card is being built around Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano, but the full order has not been released beyond the co-main event and the third bout. Francis Ngannou vs. Philipe Lins is listed as the co-main event, with Nate Diaz vs. Mike Perry set as the third fight. For Jackson, the Creighton matchup is a chance to stop the slide. For Creighton, it is the kind of late call that can turn an overlooked run into a much larger stage.
