Marshals Show reaches a key point on Sunday, April 19, when Episode 8 airs on CBS. The Yellowstone spinoff is also available on Paramount Plus, but the way viewers can watch this one depends on which plan they pay for.
Paramount Plus Premium customers can watch Episode 8 live because the plan includes their local CBS station. Paramount Plus Essential customers cannot watch it live on Sunday and will have to wait until the following Monday to stream it on demand. That split matters now because the series is moving into the part of the season when fans are least likely to want to wait.
The show follows Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton, who joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals to bring range justice to Montana. Gil Birmingham appears as Thomas Rainwater, Mo Brings Plenty appears as Mo and Brecken Merrill appears as Tate. Spencer Hudnut is the showrunner, and Taylor Sheridan serves as an executive producer.
The streaming setup also reflects where Paramount Plus has positioned the Yellowstone universe. Along with Marshals, the service carries the prequels 1883 and 1923. After a price increase in early 2026, Paramount Plus Essential costs $9 per month, or $90 per year, while Premium costs $14 per month, or $140 per year.
That leaves viewers with a practical choice rather than a mystery. If they want Episode 8 as it airs, Premium is the live path. If they can wait until the following Monday, Essential still gets them there.
