and labelmate have released their new collaboration, “She Did It Again,” a bright R&B-pop track that pays homage to and arrives as the lead single from Tyla’s upcoming sophomore album, A-Pop.

The music video follows the two singers dancing through desert architecture and waterfalls, matching the song’s glossy pace with a visual built for replay. Tyla opens with, “It’s A*POP Emergency!” and later leans into the track’s bite with the line, “I’m addictive, baby, what you want me to do?/Not a quick fix, one hit might ruin you.” Larsson answers with a direct Britney reference: “Put a man on his knees, not trying to tease/Oops, did it again like Britney.”

For Larsson, the collaboration felt immediate. “This felt like the most natural thing to ever happen,” she said, adding, “I love that girl, both in the booth and in real life.” She also said she was excited for listeners to “hear this and dance to it all summer,” while admitting she could not help “move my waist.”

The release lands during a busy stretch for Tyla, who picked up four nominations in May after winning her first in 2024 with the inaugural Best African Music Performance award for “Water.” She later won her second Grammy for Best African Music Performance with “Push 2 Start,” underscoring how quickly she has moved from breakthrough act to consistent awards contender.

Larsson is also entering a crowded season of her own. In February, she earned her first Grammy nod in the Best Dance Pop Recording category for “Midnight Sun,” and she is preparing to hit summer festival stages including ’s and in Chicago. For now, though, “She Did It Again” puts the focus on a pairing that sounds built for the moment: Tyla’s pop turn, Larsson’s club-ready instinct and a Britney tribute that is meant to be heard on repeat, not explained.
