Tom Hardy was photographed enjoying a beach day with his wife, Charlotte Riley, while vacationing in Barbados, with the 48-year-old actor seen smiling as he took a dip in the ocean. In other images, Hardy wore a gray UFC swimsuit with Venum written on the back, his tattoos on full display, and later sat on a lounge chair on the shore while applying sunscreen.
The photos captured Hardy and Riley spending time together in the water, a low-key public moment for a couple that has kept much of their family life private. They first met in 2009 on the set of the ITV adaptation of Wuthering Heights, became engaged in 2010 and married in July 2014 at Château de Roussan in Provence, France. The couple have two children, born in 2015 and 2018, and have chosen not to reveal their identities.
The beach outing comes as Hardy continues to balance family time with a career that has moved from Peaky Blinders to MobLand, where he played Harry Da Souza, a fixer for a mob family at war with a rival. He appeared in 13 episodes of Peaky Blinders, starting in the second season and returning in later seasons, and he starred alongside Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren in MobLand. In an April 2025 interview, Hardy said watching Brosnan and Mirren work was fantastic and described them as brilliant, super talented actors whose work he has long admired.

Hardy’s Barbados photos are the kind of small, unguarded moment that stands out because his public image is usually built on much bigger screens, from The Dark Knight Rises and Venom to Mad Max: Fury Road. This time, the story is simpler: a rare family break, a quiet beach, and a star content to let the water do the talking.
