Barry Manilow has postponed his April 19 concert in Portland because of his health, and the 82-year-old singer’s entire run of April shows is being moved to new dates under doctor’s orders.
The venue announced Thursday that the Cross Insurance Arena performance, which had been billed as “The Last Portland Concert,” will not go ahead as scheduled. All tickets sold so far will be honored when the show is rescheduled.
The delay comes after Manilow disclosed in December that doctors found a stage-one cancerous tumor on his left lung. He later had surgery to remove it, and he was about to start a farewell tour.

That leaves Portland waiting for a new date and fans waiting to find out how the rest of Manilow’s April schedule will be reset. For now, the show that had been promoted as a final night in the city is on hold, along with the rest of the month’s concerts.
