The Triple-i Initiative Showcase will return on Thursday, April 9 at 12PM ET, bringing 40 games, eight world premieres and a 45-minute run time to its third straight year. The indie-focused stream will also include nine featured studios in post-show deep dives.
For viewers following on xbox series x and elsewhere, the showcase will be streamed on The Triple-i Initiative YouTube channel, Twitch, bilibili, niconico and Steam, with co-streams planned by IGN and Gamespot. Confirmed games include Risk of Rain 2, Windrose and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, while the studio behind 1000xResist will also show what it has been working on.
The event has become a recurring stop on the indie calendar because it tends to surface news that lands well beyond the smaller titles it highlights. Last year’s showcase handed out release dates for 2025 indie hits such as The Alters and Rematch, a reminder that the stream can shape what players are watching next.
This year’s version keeps the same pitch: “no hosts, no ads, just games.” The clean format leaves the spotlight on what is being shown, and the real test on April 9 will be whether the promised mix of premieres and follow-up dives delivers another round of announcements people keep talking about after the stream ends.
