Jennifer Tilly says Garcelle Beauvais is “not really that into” hanging out with her, and that she finally stopped pushing after multiple missed attempts to get together. On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Tilly said she reached out to Beauvais a bunch of times after Beauvais’s unexpected departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but the conversations never turned into a real meet-up.
Tilly said she kept trying after Beauvais walked out of the reunion, and that the two had a little bit of conversation after Beauvais left the show. But she said Beauvais did not reach out after the episode aired, and the lunch and dinner plans they made both fell through. “I reached out to her after she walked out of the reunion, like a bunch of times, because I love Garcelle,” Tilly said. “We made an appointment to have lunch, but then she cancelled. And then we had an appointment to have dinner, but then she cancelled.”
By the third cancellation, Tilly said she took the hint. “It was kind of like that book, He’s Not Really That Into You,” she said. “After the third time, I thought, you know, she wants to move on. Let her have her peace.”
The exchange landed in the middle of a very public stretch for Beverly Hills viewers, coming after Beauvais’s abrupt exit from RHOBH and as Tilly reflected on an earlier episode in which she confronted Sutton Stracke about her selfish behavior. The franchise airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo and streams the following day on Peacock, which keeps even off-camera tensions in the conversation long after the episode ends. For now, Tilly’s account answers the question behind the gossip: she tried several times, Beauvais did not pick it back up, and Tilly decided to stop trying.
