Jack White will bring his newest tour to the Las Vegas Strip later this fall, with Live Nation saying he will headline BleauLive Theater inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Friday, Oct. 2.
Tickets go on general sale Friday, April 17, at fontainebleaulasvegas.com. The date adds another high-profile stop for White, the former lead singer and guitarist for the White Stripes, who built a solo career after the band split.
White is one of rock’s most decorated artists, with 12 Grammy Awards, best-selling albums such as Blunderbuss and Lazaretto, and signature songs including Seven Nation Army, Icky Thump and Blue Orchid. He was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year as a member of the White Stripes.
The booking fits a long arc that has kept White in the center of guitar rock for more than two decades. From the White Stripes to his solo work, he has moved between garage-rock bite and polished arena-ready songwriting without losing the identity that made him a standout in the first place.
For Las Vegas fans, the immediate next step is the ticket window. The wider question is whether this Strip date becomes one of the tour’s marquee stops, and White’s record suggests the answer is yes.
