Hailee Steinfeld gave the first public glimpse of the baby girl she shares with Josh Allen on May 11, posting a set of Mother’s Day photos that showed the child holding a finger and, in another image, her feet tucked inside a newborn onesie. The images arrived more than a month after Steinfeld and Allen announced on April 2 that their baby girl had been born. In January, Steinfeld said they had been calling their daughter “Baby Beau,” a nickname that grew out of a family shorthand. Allen had already signaled how much the moment meant to him. At a Jan. 29 Buffalo Bills press conference, the quarterback said he was looking forward to becoming a father, adding, “I’m very much looking forward to that with my wife of becoming a dad.” He also said, “This is the most important thing I’ll ever be in my life, is being a dad,” and, “I love being a football player, and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, but I’m looking forward to this one.”
The couple married in May 2025 after confirming their relationship years earlier with a kiss on vacation in Mexico. They later made a rare social media appearance helping Allen’s sister, Nicala Madden, reveal the sex of her baby in a TikTok video, another brief window into a relationship they have otherwise kept largely private.
