Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Turkey on Friday as the two leaders discussed developments in the Middle East and their repercussions for regional security and stability.
Wam said the talks included an exchange of views on regional issues, with the meeting taking place during Sheikh Mansour's working visit to Turkey.
The visit came as part of the strategic ties between the United Arab Emirates and Turkey, alongside their Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. The two sides also discussed ways to strengthen relations in support of shared development priorities and mutual interests, with both governments committed to continued progress toward the agreement's goals.
Sheikh Mansour arrived in Turkey on Friday and was accompanied by Sheikh Theyab bin Zayed, Dr Sultan Al Jaber, Mohamed Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei and Faisal Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Bannai. The meeting followed the same day and focused on promoting growth and prosperity for both countries, while underscoring that regional security remains part of a wider economic and diplomatic relationship rather than a stand-alone conversation.
