Anabel Pantoja said she wants to stay out of the family dispute around Isa Pi after learning that Isabel Pantoja had written to her on Mother’s Day. In her first remarks on the matter, she said she was happy for Isa but did not want to get involved in what she described as a private issue between mothers and children.
“Pues me alegro de corazón, pero yo es una cosa que no me quiero meter en nada, porque ella pertenece a ellos, igual que con Kiko. Quiero estar al margen, porque eso es su intimidad. Son madres e hijos,” Pantoja said. She added that Isa is “very good” and “a very good mother,” and said the younger woman is going through “a very beautiful moment.”
Pantoja’s comments come after Isa Pi said her mother had written to her for the first time in six years, a development that has put their long silence back into view. Asked about it, Anabel said she speaks with Isa often and even asks her for advice many times, saying she deserves the best for herself and for her niece.
She also said she had sent Isa a message that same morning after watching “De Viernes!”, telling her she was moved by what had happened and wishing her well. “Amor, es que no he visto nada, le he escrito un mensaje esta mañana, creo que fue a de viernes, que estuve muy emocionada y le dije que nada, que me alegro de todo lo que le pase a ella, porque ella es como si fuera mi hermana y que siempre me va a tener, o sea, que le deseo lo mejor,” Pantoja said.
