Henry Cavill is headed back to the big screen in 2026 with In The Grey, an action-adventure thriller that reunites him with Guy Ritchie.
The film marks another collaboration for Cavill and Ritchie, who most recently worked together on The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and first teamed up more than 10 years ago on The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Cavill also has another movie coming soon in addition to In The Grey, and the timing gives him a busy run after his latest return to the role of Sherlock Holmes.
That return comes in Enola Holmes 3, the third Enola Holmes movie, which is set to be released on Netflix on July 1. Entertainment Weekly released a new image from the film just yesterday ahead of its launch, adding fresh attention to a franchise that has become one of Cavill’s most visible on-screen projects.
The schedule points to a crowded stretch for the actor, with Enola Holmes 3 arriving first and In The Grey following next year. The Highlander remake is also in production under director Chad Stahelski and is expected to be released sometime next year, adding another title to a year that is lining up to be a big one for Cavill.
For Cavill, the answer to what comes next is already on the calendar: Sherlock Holmes on July 1, then Guy Ritchie’s In The Grey in 2026, with more work from the same packed pipeline still ahead.
