is months away from its Sony June 2026 update, but the early guesses are already pointing to a familiar pattern: some of the biggest PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games could be on the way out. Among the titles being speculated for June are LEGO Horizon Adventures, Assassin's Creed Mirage and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

The discussion matters because Sony routinely refreshes the service by adding new games while others rotate out, and the free PS Plus Essential games for May 2026 were only recently announced. That split matters to subscribers: Essential titles usually stay in a library for as long as the membership remains active, while Extra and Premium games more often than not eventually leave to make room for the next batch.

LEGO Horizon Adventures stands out in the list because it is a first-party Sony title, and those games typically remain in the Extra and Premium libraries longer than third-party offerings. The game itself is also a short one, running at roughly six or seven hours, and GAMINGbible's gave it 7/10 in her review, calling it a title that gets a lot right and offers a truly wonderful experience for fans old and new.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is a different case. Because + Classics is part of PlayStation Plus Premium, Ubisoft titles such as Mirage are generally expected to remain available to Premium subscribers. That is why some of the chatter around the June 2026 departures is less about certainty than about guessing which games fit Sony's usual timing and which ones are simply being singled out by players watching the catalog closely.

That uncertainty is also what drove the fan discussion around the rumored exits. One player pointed out that Red Dead Redemption had been added six months ago, while another said Rockstar games usually stay for only six months, making that the best guess for a departure pattern. Others focused on different titles, with one saying they hoped Silent Hill 2 never leaves, another calling Crusader Kings 3 a devastating loss, and one more saying they still needed to finish Wo Long before it disappears. The point is not that every name on the list is doomed. It is that the clock is already ticking on the Extra and Premium catalog, and June 2026 is the next likely reshuffle.

If the pattern holds, the next Sony Playstation Plus June 2026 update will not be a surprise so much as a reset: a new set of additions, a few familiar games gone, and subscribers left deciding what to finish before it is too late.
