Xbox Game Pass is adding two more titles for 2026, with Corsair Cove and Mariachi Legends both set to arrive day one on the subscription service. Corsair Cove is a PC-only city-builder set toward the end of the Golden Age of Piracy, while Mariachi Legends is a brutal, pixel art, combat-oriented Metroidvania coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Corsair Cove will put players in a war against the Crown's pirate hunters, but its release date remains vague beyond the fact that it is due in 2026. Mariachi Legends has a firmer window, with Q4 2026 now attached to the game after it was announced for Game Pass at Gamescom LATAM a few days ago.
The two announcements are not the only Game Pass news expected this week. Microsoft is also set to share the next set of Xbox Game Pass titles for May 2026 very soon, which means the service's 2026 slate is still coming into focus even as these additions land.
For now, the practical answer for players is simple: 2026 will bring at least two very different Game Pass releases, one built around pirate-era strategy on PC and another focused on combat-heavy platforming across Microsoft's current hardware and cloud lineup.
