Jeannette Beres filed legal action against Celebrity Cruises on March 26, 2026, alleging she was injured more than a year earlier when she tripped over a speaker on Celebrity Reflection. The complaint says the fall happened on January 14, 2025, during an evening event in the ship’s grand foyer on Deck 3.
Beres says the incident left her with a fractured foot and other injuries. The ship’s grand foyer is a central atrium space used for live music and dancing, which makes the placement of a speaker at the center of the floor the heart of the dispute.
