Graco is voluntarily recalling select SnugRide Turn & Slide infant car seats because of a structural issue with the base, saying customers should stop using the seat with the base immediately. The recalled seats were sold in the United States from January through March 2026 at Amazon, Babylist, Target, Walmart and on GracoBaby.com.
The company said it will provide a replacement product at no cost and told customers to take a photo of the product and upload it to to get one. Graco said the seat may still be used without the base, in line with the product instructions, while families wait for the replacement.
The recall affects a product that moved through major online and retail channels and now requires owners to decide between pausing use of the base or continuing without it. Graco's instructions are aimed at getting replacement units to customers quickly, but the notice also makes clear that the safest step for now is to stop using the base until a new product arrives.

For parents who bought one during the three-month sales window, the issue is immediate: check the seat, take the requested photo and file for the replacement. The company has already said the current seat can remain in service without the base under the product instructions, which means the recall does not require families to stop using the seat altogether while they wait.
