and are spending more of their time at their Old Snowmass, Colorado, estate than at their Los Angeles home, and Russell said a full-time move is now a real possibility. In a recent interview with, he said the couple may be heading toward relocating to Colorado for good.

The reason is personal as much as practical. Russell said Hawn loves being in Colorado, and their son recently moved there with his wife, , and their two sons. “What I enjoy most is that [Hawn] really likes it in Colorado,” he said. “Wyatt and Meredith and their two boys, they live in Colorado now. So we like to spend as much time there as we can.”

Their Old Snowmass property has been in the family for more than 40 years, giving the move a deeper pull than a simple change of address. The couple also keeps homes in New York, Los Angeles and Palm Desert, California, but the Colorado estate has become the center of gravity, described as a family sanctuary away from Hollywood.

Russell has also made clear that the home itself matters to both of them. He told The that he and Hawn share a love of log homes, saying, “Goldie and I share a passion for log homes,” and adding, “I never got that out of my system, starting with the one in Maine.”

For now, the question is not whether Colorado matters to the family. It already does. The question is whether Hawn and Russell turn a favored retreat into their permanent home, joining the next generation of the family in a place that has anchored them for decades.
