Chase Infiniti shares the wheel with Morgan Freeman in a new commercial for the 2026 Audi Q3, a spot that turns an open-ended drive into a surprise reveal. Freeman’s voice opens the ad with, “She didn’t know where the road would leave,” before the camera shows he is riding as a passenger beside the 25-year-old actor.
Infiniti said Friday the experience was “totally surreal,” adding that the first time she met Freeman in person was when they sat in the car for the first time. “Hi, I’m Chase. It’s so nice to meet you,” she recalled telling him, while trying not to “freak out and be a fangirl” as she pretended to drive. She said Freeman’s presence “just brings so much warmth” and called him “such a kind person and very warm on set as well.”
The commercial was conceived by New Ogilvy and directed by Tilt Productions as part of Audi’s campaign for the 2026 Q3. It comes as Infiniti has spent much of the last year in awards-season promotion for Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another with Teyana Taylor, Leonardo DiCaprio and Benicio del Toro, and after she recently drew praise for starring in Hulu’s new spinoff of The Handmaids Tale, The Testaments.
The most revealing part of the rollout is not the road trip framing or the car itself. It is Infiniti’s reaction to working with Freeman, and her blunt wish to do it again in any capacity — even as “a waiter in the background” or “a barista” in a café scene. That is what gives the ad its lift: not star power in the abstract, but the kind of awe that still shows through when the camera stops rolling.
