They Will Kill You, Kirill Sokolov’s horror comedy about a former convict trapped in a New York City high-rise run by a demonic cult, is headed to digital platforms on April 28. The film, which stars Zazie Beetz, will also arrive on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on June 30.
The release schedule gives the movie a faster path to home viewing just weeks after its theatrical debut on March 27, 2026. For a film with a reported $20 million budget, the timing matters because its worldwide box office total sits at $19 million, a little short of what it cost to make.
Sokolov co-wrote the script with Alex Litvak, and the cast includes Tom Felton as a member of the satanic cult, along with Myha'la, Paterson Joseph, Heather Graham, Patricia Arquette, Angus Sampson and James Remar. The story follows Beetz’s character through one night of survival as she tries to avoid becoming the cult’s next sacrifice.
The reception has been mixed but mostly positive, with a 65% Rotten Tomatoes score and a 77% audience score. That split helps explain the film’s commercial position: it drew enough notice to stay in the conversation, but not enough theatrical momentum to clear its production cost before moving on to digital and disc.
