Ozuna is set to appear in Supernova: Génesis, the special Netflix will stream live on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from Arena Ciudad de México in its first live transmission in Latin America. The event will reach more than 190 countries and will be available at 7:00 pm Mexico City time, or 9:00 pm in Miami.
Supernova: Génesis is built as a night that mixes boxing matches between celebrities and influencers with music and entertainment, and Ozuna will represent the urbano side of the lineup. Carín León and Óscar Maydón are set for the regional Mexican music section, while Bárbara de Regil and Alexis Omman will also take part in the evening, though their roles have not yet been detailed.
The production’s red belt, with a central plate bearing the event name and gold finish with diamond and ruby inlays, signals that the spectacle is being packaged as more than a fight card. Netflix is betting that the combination of live boxing, music and celebrity draw can turn Supernova: Génesis into a template for how it wants to do live events in the region.
What is still left open is how much of the night will be driven by the bouts and how much by the performances and special appearances, but the format itself is the point: a live, cross-genre broadcast meant to travel far beyond Mexico City in one shot.
