RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 11 returns to Paramount+ on May 8 with a two-episode premiere, and the competition is coming back with a bracket twist. The all stars 11 cast will feature 18 queens from past seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race, split into three groups of six and sent into their own brackets across three episodes.
In that format, the queens earn points, and the ones with the highest totals move on to the semi-finals. The season winner will then compete for a place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame and a $200,000 prize, while RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: Untucked also begins streaming exclusively on Paramount+ that same day.
Among the returning names is A’keria C. Davenport, who is back after appearing on season 11 and All Stars 6. The lineup also includes April Carrión from season 6, Aura Mayari from season 15, Crystal Methyd, a finalist on season 12, Hershii Liqcour-Jeté from season 16 and Jasmine Kennedie from season 14.
The bracket format is not new to the series. It was introduced during Season 10 last year and now returns for Season 11, arriving after Myki Meeks was crowned winner of season 18 of the main series. For viewers, that means the field is larger, the path to the crown is narrower and the first stop is a competition built to cut quickly from a crowded cast to a small group of semifinalists.
What makes this season matter is the shape of the race itself. With 18 queens divided into three brackets, the early episodes will decide who gets to keep moving and who is done before the field ever reaches the semifinal stage, leaving the season to turn on point totals rather than a single-night win.
