Apple’s annual WWDC conference is still days away, but the logo for this year’s event has already set off a wave of speculation about what the company may be preparing to show. Fans have latched onto the design as a possible clue to Apple’s next big move, with some even theorising that Lil' Finder Guy could be the next Siri.
The real news, though, comes from Mark Gurman, who said in his Power On newsletter that iOS 27 will bring a fresh Siri interface inside the Dynamic Island. Gurman reported that the assistant will be paired with a new thin glow motif, appearing around the edges of the Dynamic Island when Siri is called up and again in the search bar of a new preinstalled Siri app.
WWDC 2026 is scheduled to begin on 8 June and run through 12 June, giving Apple a set stage to answer the questions now building around its software plans. The event has become the focus of unusually detailed fan reading, with the logo itself treated almost like a teaser for the company’s latest innovation.
That said, the logo has not been confirmed as a preview of anything specific, and the link between the artwork and Apple’s next release remains speculation. What is confirmed is Gurman’s reporting on iOS 27, which points to a more visible Siri presence at the centre of the iPhone experience if Apple follows through next month.
