Erin Andrews says she is not giving up on IVF, even after several rounds and years of trying to expand her family with husband Jarret Stoll.
On the April 14 episode of Calm Down With Erin & Charissa, Andrews said she is still hoping for success and described her outlook with the blunt mix of frustration and stubbornness that has marked her fertility journey. “I know what history says. It’s not great with producing eggs and the viability of your eggs,” she said, before adding, “There’s just some (expletive) in me that I’m like, watch, watch me do it. It’s like a weird addiction I have.”
The 47-year-old broadcaster has been open about the toll of fertility treatment. Andrews previously battled cervical cancer and has gone through several rounds of IVF. She and Stoll married in 2017 and welcomed their son, Mack, via surrogate in June of 2023.
That path has not been simple. Andrews and Stoll have also tried to have other children through surrogacy and have faced heartbreak along the way, a reality she has not hidden from listeners. On the podcast, Charissa Thompson pushed back gently on Andrews’ relentless drive, telling her, “It’s a blessing and a curse in your life, how competitive you are,” and, “You will not stop until someone makes you stop.”
Andrews answered with a line that captured both her age and her determination: “I’m really in the fourth quarter,” she joked. But the point of the conversation was not retirement from the fight. It was the opposite. She is still trying, and she is not ruling out another pregnancy just because the odds are steep.
