Hannah Berner was photographed in Montauk, N.Y., for the 2026 SI Swimsuit Issue, joining seven other women in a beachside shoot that puts the comedian and podcast host in one of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s most visible annual showcases. The issue hits newsstands in less than a month.
Berner was one of four rookies in the 2026 issue, alongside Remi Bader, Erin Marley Klay and Tunde Oyeneyin, while Nina Agdal, Nicole Williams English, Ali Truwit and XANDRA returned as familiar faces. Ben Watts photographed the group in New York, with Hero Beach Club providing the backdrop against the Atlantic Ocean.
The Montauk stop was one part of a larger 2026 rollout that also included shoots in Botswana, Loreto in Baja California Sur, Mexico, and Fort Myers, Fla. But the setting in Montauk carried its own pull: Hero Beach Club dates to the 1950s, and the low-slung property has become the kind of coastal stage that gives the annual issue its easy, summer-first feel.
For Berner, the assignment marks a clear step into the SI Swimsuit lineup at exactly the right moment, with the issue about to reach readers and the rookie class giving the 2026 edition a new core of names. The bigger answer is already visible in the images: yes, Hannah Berner Sports Illustrated is part of the 2026 issue, and she is there as one of the new faces helping define it.
