Bruce Willis’ former Beverly Hills mansion sold for $41.25 million in an off-market deal, placing the 1928 Benedict Canyon estate among the priciest homes sold in Los Angeles County this year. The property, in the 90210 ZIP code, changed hands without the buyer being identified.
The 10,300-square-foot home was sold by Willis for $16.5 million in 2014 to Carlos Alberini and Andrea Alberini. It was then listed with Jon Grauman, Adam Rosenfeld and Bennett Bidwell of Resident Group. The sale was reported as the second-highest residential real estate purchase in Los Angeles County so far this year, behind a nearby dwelling that sold for $47 million in March.
When Willis sold the house, it was listed with 11 bedrooms. The home now has seven bedrooms, reflecting the updates made over the 12 years since he moved on. The Alberinis also bought the adjacent home for $15.75 million in 2021, and that property was listed for $17.99 million on Jan. 30, underscoring how tightly the family has been tied to the block.
The sale fits a broader pattern in Benedict Canyon, a coveted pocket of Beverly Hills where older estates can trade for extraordinary sums after major renovations. What makes this deal stand out is not just the price, but the fact that the buyer stayed hidden while one of the city’s most recognizable homes quietly changed hands again.
