Kylie Jenner whipped off her clothes and posed topless on Instagram on Monday, April 13, using the image to promote a new Khy fashion collection she said was deeply personal to her. The 28-year-old reality star and beauty entrepreneur paired the photo with a sparkling rhinestone tattoo on her arm that read “I Heart LA.”
Jenner, who launched Khy in November 2023, wrote that the collection was “Born in LA” and said it was “very personal to me.” She added that it was “inspired, designed, and almost all of it made here in los angeles,” and said she could not wait for what the brand had coming “this year and beyond.”
The post puts a spotlight back on Khy, the fashion brand Jenner has been building since November 2023, and on the city she tied the collection to so directly. The Instagram page for Khy has since been wiped clean, leaving the topless promotion as the clearest public signal yet of the line’s next chapter.
Jenner’s promotion also lands as she has been speaking publicly about how fame affects her family. Recently, she said she broke down in tears after watching episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians with her daughter Stormi, eight, who asked, “Can I watch it?” Jenner said, “I was so emotional after,” and added, “When Stormi turns 15, I don't know how I'm going to handle it.”
That unease runs through her comments about raising Stormi and her nine-year-old son Aire with ex Travis Scott. Jenner said, “We don't know how [fame] is going to affect them, and it's really scary.” For all the polished branding around Khy, the posts show a celebrity still trying to control how much of her life her children see, and how much of it they inherit.
