showed up at the Valley Music and Arts Festival over the weekend in Indio, California, wearing a jet black wig and mirrored sunglasses that made the 52-year-old model look almost unrecognizable. On Saturday, she shared a social media clip with the caption, “Coachella day 2 'Techno Hexen,'” as she leaned into a costume-heavy festival look.

Klum wore a sheer white gown with layers of fabric cascading down her chest and tucked into the back of a lacy pair of bottoms. She carried a black leather bag across her shoulder, and finished the outfit with fishnets and black-and-white leather cowboy boots. The night before, she had posted herself in a white cut-out bodysuit, oversized jeans and a white beanie while dancing to a song before catching the DJ's closing set on the .

The appearance fit the public image Klum has built around dramatic fashion and Halloween-ready presentation. The mother of four is usually known for bright blonde hair, which is why the black wig drew such attention at Coachella and made the look stand out even more.

The festival post also landed just after Klum told News Digital what her favorite Halloween costume has been in the past and teased what this year holds for the queen of Halloween. For a performer who has made spectacle part of her brand, the Coachella weekend outing suggested she is already working in the same lane months before October arrives.

That is the point of the whole look: Klum does not just attend events, she arrives in character, and this time she did it with a festival outfit that doubled as a tease for what is likely to come next.
