is sending restaurant chains into deal mode as the April 15 deadline approaches, with , , and each rolling out offers aimed at trimming the cost of a meal. The promotions range from discounted sandwiches to delivery credits and limited-time entrée rewards.

Subway is offering a buy-one, get-one deal on select footlong sandwiches through its app and online ordering platform through April 28, available to rewards members. Grubhub is running tax-season promotions that include credits tied to past delivery fees. From April 6 through April 15, customers can submit a receipt from a 2025 food delivery order for a chance to receive $20 in Grubhub credit in the company’s campaign. Grubhub is also advertising savings on current orders, including discounts on purchases over a certain amount and the elimination of delivery and service fees on qualifying orders of $50 or more.

Qdoba is promoting a Tax Day offer called , giving rewards members who complete a short online survey through April 15 a $5 reward toward a full-sized entrée. The credit will be issued later in the month and can be redeemed for a limited time. Olive Garden is also joining the push with its Buy One, Take One deal at participating locations nationwide.

The timing is the point. The offers are being framed as Tax Day savings tied to the April 15 deadline, a familiar moment when chains look to catch customers who want a break before the month’s bills pile up. But the deals are not universal, and some of the most visible offers depend on app use, rewards enrollment or qualifying purchase thresholds, which means the advertised savings can be narrower than they first appear.

For customers, the next step is simple: check the fine print before ordering. The menus may be full of promises, but the value depends on location, eligibility and whether the purchase fits the terms attached to each promotion.
