Latto is getting the kind of baby gifts most expectant parents only see in a wish list. The 27-year-old rapper shared a video on social media recapping the presents she has received for her baby on the way, and her caption said it all: “POV: ‘Yo baby got rich aunties & uncles.’”
The haul was stacked with luxury and practical gear alike. Sexyy Red bought a Gucci baby bag, Flo Milli sent premium baby products, a body pillow and toys, and Angel Reese gifted a premium stroller from Silver Cross along with baby products and clothes. Usher and Jenn Goicoechea sent a black stroller from Doona, G Herbo gave soon-to-be mini diamond jewelry, and T.I. and Tiny added luxury items from Neiman Marcus. For Latto, the video was less about the items than the circle around them, a sign that her pregnancy has become a public celebration among friends who move in the same orbit.
Latto announced in March that she was pregnant, around the same time she rolled out her Big Mama album. She later marked the moment with a cheetah-themed baby shower in Atlanta at The Garden Room, while the father of her child, 21 Savage, was noted on the invitation but did not appear in the shower content. She has not flat-out said she and 21 Savage are together, but in a March Paper magazine cover story she made clear she had been with her man for years and said, “I have nothing to prove to anyone. I have no rumor to clear up.”
That same interview showed how much the pregnancy had changed her thinking. Latto said she was terrified at first that motherhood would feed old ideas that women in her position slow down once they have a child, but she added that she feels more motivated than ever. She also said she laughs now at how worried she was early on, and that she cannot imagine life turning out any other way because it feels written. She had already hinted at the shift in the video for “Business & Personal (Intro),” where she officially debuted her bump and kept her baby’s gender a surprise.
The timing matters because Latto is entering the next stretch of her career while motherhood is moving from private news to public life. She is also set for the 2026 ESSENCE Festival of Culture, and the baby shower gifts suggest the industry is already treating this as a milestone worth celebrating, not a pause in momentum. What she once feared would change everything is now being framed by her own words as the thing pushing her forward.
