Jenn Todryk said her latest lab work showed a sharp drop in the thyroid antibody levels tied to her Hashimoto’s disease, telling followers on Tuesday, April 7, that the number had fallen to 257 after recent readings above 5,000.
Todryk said the result was still not normal, but it marked the lowest level she has ever seen for her thyroid peroxidase antibodies. In the same update, she said the number is supposed to be 0.
“This morning I got my most recent lab results back and I am still processing the results…I have Hashimotos, and below is the hormone that measures your Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies. It is supposed to be 0. Two blood draws ago I was at 5,488, the blood draw I had back in October was 5,070,” Todryk said in her Instagram Story. She added, “Today I’m at 257 — a level I have never been at. When I was first diagnosed over 10 years ago, I was over 1,000. I’ve never seen my inflammation this low.”
The update matters because Todryk has spent months describing how the autoimmune condition affects her daily life. In September 2025, she said on her “You, Me & Mike” podcast that her body is attacking its own thyroid, that she lives in a constant state of inflammation and that she gets sick far more often. She said the fatigue can feel like pregnancy exhaustion or the grind of a 12- to 16-hour shift.
She also said the only thing she had been taking every day since Christmas was Armour Thyroid, which she described as the hormone pill she needs because she has hypothyroidism. Todryk said she had been on a slew of supplements close to Thanksgiving time, used them for about a month and then stopped being compliant, adding that she is “really bad” about that part of treatment. She said she believes her body may finally be reaching a point where it can absorb what she puts into it.
Todryk said she still plans to talk more after she has more information and that she has an appointment lined up with her doctor to go over the results. For now, the new bloodwork points to a real improvement, even if her antibody count remains far from the zero she said it should be.
