Savannah James is bringing her podcast back just as LeBron James faces a long night in the Western Conference Semifinals. On May 9, the Instagram account for Everybody’s Crazy said the show would go live May 12, May 13 and May 14 at 5 p.m. PST, ending a stretch of several months without new episodes.
The post came while the Los Angeles Lakers were down 2-0 to the Oklahoma City Thunder and facing a must-win Game 3 situation that day. James, LeBron’s wife, has been by his side throughout his basketball career, but this announcement was about her own project: a return to the mic with close friend April McDaniel after the podcast moved to the Dear Media Network last year.
The Instagram caption called the comeback “EVERYBODY GANG!!” and said the pair were “back in the office, where it all began,” adding that the return felt like a “full circle moment.” It also included a phone number, 708-808-2799, inviting listeners to call in for the live shows.
The video posted with the announcement showed Savannah James and McDaniel preparing for what appeared to be their first episode back. That makes the timing clear: while LeBron was fighting to keep the Lakers alive in the playoffs, James was reopening a different stage of her public life on her own schedule, and with a live run set to start May 12.
What comes next is already on the calendar. Everybody’s Crazy is scheduled to go live again on May 12, May 13 and May 14 at 5 p.m. PST, and after months away, the question is not whether Savannah James is returning — it is how quickly the show can reestablish itself once it does.
