Discord Nitro subscribers began getting a starter edition of Xbox Game Pass on Monday, giving the paid chat service a new perk as Xbox and Discord expanded their partnership. The bundle adds access to more than 50 Xbox and PC games and 10 hours of cloud gaming streaming every month.
Discord said Nitro membership is still priced at $10 a month, or $100 for a year, and the Game Pass offer is now included in that plan. The starter edition includes games such as DayZ, Deep Rock Galactic, Fallout 4, Grounded, Overcooked 2 and Stardew Valley, giving subscribers a way to download titles or stream them through the cloud.
The move pushes deeper into gaming for a platform that has long been favored by players and has already been folded into PlayStation and Xbox ecosystems in recent years. Discord Nitro is the company’s premium tier, with custom per-server profiles, larger file uploads and custom emojis among its features.
The timing also follows a busy stretch for Xbox and Discord. Discord announced a controversial age-verification plan in February and later delayed the changes to later in 2026. Xbox, meanwhile, cut Game Pass prices in 2026 and said the service would not add future Call of Duty titles on launch days, making Monday’s bundle a fresh bid to keep the subscription more attractive. For now, the answer to what subscribers get is straightforward: a starter edition of Xbox Game Pass is part of Nitro, and the price has not changed.
