Crwv Stock: CoreWeave valuation points to steep gap from share price

Crwv Stock sits near US$80.94 even as a DCF model puts CoreWeave's value far higher, highlighting a wide valuation gap.

’s share price was around US$80.94, but a valuation model put the company’s estimated intrinsic value at about US$624.38 per share. That gap implied the stock was trading at roughly an 87.0% discount to the model’s view of fair value.

The market has not been standing still. CoreWeave returned 17.0% over the last 7 days, 10.9% over the last 30 days, 2.0% year to date and 62.4% over the last year, a sharp run for a company still trying to convert attention into consistent cash generation.

gave CoreWeave a valuation score of 4 out of 6 and used a 2 Stage Free Cash Flow to Equity approach based on cash flow projections in US dollars. That model starts with CoreWeave’s latest twelve-month free cash flow of about negative US$12.4 million and then assumes a turn in the years ahead, with free cash flow projected to reach US$4.2 million in 2029 and US$12.4 million in 2030.

The valuation case matters because CoreWeave is not yet consistently profitable, which makes earnings-based measures less useful than sales-based ones. Recent coverage has focused on the company’s position in the software space and its role in AI related infrastructure, where growth stories can move faster than the underlying numbers.

On that basis, the stock’s price still looks rich by ordinary sales comparisons. CoreWeave traded at a price-to-sales ratio of 8.29x, above the average of 1.69x but below the peer group average of 17.23x, while Simply Wall St’s Fair Ratio for the company was 25.02x. The divide leaves investors with a familiar choice: whether the current price reflects a real step-change in CoreWeave’s future or simply a market that has run ahead of what the cash flow can yet support.
