Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom will officially open its 2026 season on Friday, May 8, with Wildwater Kingdom set to follow on Saturday, May 23, as the Allentown, Pennsylvania park rolls out a season built around rides, water attractions and family outings.
The park said the 2026 announcement, dated May 4, also brings regional access to Gold Season Passes and memberships. That access will cover Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Wild Safari, Hurricane Harbor New Jersey and Kings Dominion.
Ryan Eldredge said opening day is about families coming together to kick off the season, and he pointed to everything from first rides in Planet Snoopy to bigger thrills across the park. Dorney Park offers more than 100 rides, shows and attractions, including seven roller coasters, while Planet Snoopy serves as the dedicated children’s area with pint-sized rides, interactive play and chances to meet Snoopy and the Peanuts gang.
The timing matters because the park is lining up its main season launch first and its water park a little later, giving visitors two different openings to plan around in a short window. Dorney Park describes itself as offering Pennsylvania’s best value with two parks in one, and says the region’s top-ranked water park and the area’s largest collection of kids rides help define the experience.
The schedule now puts the spotlight on May 8 for the full park opening and May 23 for Wildwater Kingdom, a split start that underscores how the 2026 season is being framed: thrills for coaster fans, family-friendly attractions for younger visitors and a longer runway for summer plans in Allentown.
