went back at on social media after Kingston’s WWE exit, reviving a feud that had already spilled across fan interactions, Houston references and threats of legal action. Fatu also teased the idea that the two could finally meet in a match.

Kingston officially left WWE on May 2, 2026, after he and reportedly failed to reach terms in contract renegotiation talks. Fatu responded by pulling up an old exchange and joking about Kingston losing his spot, then posting, “Hey buddy, I heard you lost your job, if you need some work hmu Zilla Fatu vs Kofi Kingston would feed families! Let’s help him out.”

The dispute dates to early 2025, when Fatu accused Kingston and Woods of disrespecting his fans and his hometown of Houston. The argument intensified after Woods threw a fan’s shirt on the ground following an event, and again when Kingston, during a RAW entrance, grabbed a fan’s “Zilla Fatu thumbs down” foam finger and tossed it aside.

Kingston later told Fatu to focus on “getting a job” instead of posting online and said he would “prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law if he was to lay a hand” on him. The rivalry stayed on social media while Fatu continued wrestling for independent promotions, though many fans believed his Anoa’i family connection through his father, , could one day pull him into WWE. Kingston’s departure now gives the feud a new angle, and Fatu has already made clear he is ready to keep pressing it.
