Brandi Glanville took aim at LeAnn Rimes on Wednesday after a rumor spread that the singer might join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Glanville posted on X that she hoped the story was true, then added that Rimes had already taken “husband, kids, boobs, bronco, random illnesses” and should “finish it off once and for all” by becoming a housewife.
Rimes moved quickly to shut the speculation down. In a comment on Rachel Lindsay’s podcast post, she wrote, “Omg, dying! SCHOOL QUEEN. no, no…. no housewives for me. playing dixie on ‘911 nashville’ is drama enough for me.” Her response made clear she has no interest in the Bravo franchise, even as the rumor ricocheted across reality TV circles.
The exchange lands inside a feud that has lasted for years and still circles back to Eddie Cibrian. Rimes and Cibrian met while filming the Lifetime movie Northern Lights, when both were married to other people, and they tied the knot in 2011. This week also marked 15 years of marriage for the couple, a milestone that sits uneasily alongside the tabloid history that made the pair fixtures in celebrity gossip.
Glanville has never hidden her anger about that history, and her latest jab fit a pattern of public callouts. The casting rumor had been discussed first on the Ringer Reality TV podcast by Lindsay before Rimes weighed in, and the singer’s denial was blunt. She is not joining RHOBH. She says the part she is already playing — Dixie on 911 Nashville — brings enough drama on its own.
For Rimes, the broader story is not the casting rumor but the way the scandal still follows her. In 2025, she told Flow Space that she had been cheated on herself and had become a target during the Eddie Cibrian cheating scandal, saying she quickly learned “there are a lot of women who’ve been hurt” and that once she understood that dynamic, “things got a lot easier.” That is the core of this latest exchange: Glanville is still throwing punches, but Rimes is making it plain she has no plans to step into the same reality-TV arena that has kept the feud alive.
