Fox has canceled Going Dutch after two seasons, ending the Denis Leary-led sitcom before it could return for a third. Variety reported the cancellation as Fox prepares to lay out plans for its 2026-2027 broadcast season.
Going Dutch premiered in 2025 and wrapped its second season last month, leaving the show without a path forward at the network. The series starred Leary alongside Taylor Misiak, Danny Pudi, Laci Mosley and Hal Cumpston, with Dempsey Bryk, Arnmundur Ernst Björnsson, Catherine Tate and Kristen Johnston appearing in recurring roles.
The cancellation closes the door on a comedy that lasted just two seasons, which is a short run even by network standards. Joel Church-Cooper created the series, and Hilary Winston co-showran it with him, but Fox’s decision means the team will not get a third-season chance to build on the show’s 2025 debut.
The timing matters because Fox is about to unveil its next broadcast slate, and cancellations like this clear space before those plans are announced. For Going Dutch, the answer is simple: it will not be back.
