The Giants agreed to a one-year deal with offensive lineman Daniel Faalele, adding another option at right guard after bringing in Lucas Patrick earlier this week.
Faalele, 26, just completed his rookie contract with Baltimore and started all 17 games in each of the last two seasons for the Ravens. The move gives New York more flexibility as it tries to sort out the interior of its offensive line.
That kind of durability matters. Faalele did not merely get on the field; he stayed there for two straight seasons, something the Giants have now decided is worth betting on for another year.

The addition also fits the way New York has approached the position this week, layering in options rather than settling on one answer too soon. With Patrick already in the building and Faalele now under contract, the Giants have given themselves a clearer competition at right guard before the next phase of roster decisions.

What comes next is the battle for the job. Faalele arrives with a recent history of full-season availability, and the Giants are counting on that track record to make the right side of their line harder to break.
