Jürgen Klopp was at Red Bull Bragantino's final training session on Saturday, July 25, in Bragança Paulista, one day before the club faces Palmeiras in the 13th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. The Red Bull global football chief is expected to watch the match on Sunday, July 26, at the Cícero de Souza Marques stadium.
Bragantino's press office said Klopp's visit had already been scheduled, describing it as a planned stop at the Massa Bruta training session. It was his first visit of 2025 to Bragantino's structure, after an earlier trip this year to the Braga Development and Performance Center with former German striker Mario Gomez.
The timing matters because Bragantino is entering a busy stretch after a 1-1 draw with Mirassol in the first leg of the fifth phase of the Copa do Brasil. Palmeiras arrived at the round as the league leader, giving Sunday's game extra weight beyond a routine league fixture.
What stands out is that Klopp's appearance was not tied to a sudden visit or a surprise stop. It had been arranged in advance, and the club now expects him to be in the stands as Bragantino tries to slow the league leader at home.
