ABC News Live Prime with Linsey Davis is setting its weeknight lineup for April 27-May 1, with the Emmy Award-nominated newscast airing starting at 7 p.m. ET on ABC News Live. The schedule ranges from music and film guests to reporting on robotics, courtroom conflict and disability access.
On Monday, April 27, Ashley McBryde was scheduled to appear, along with All Access with Linsey Davis, which was set to sit down with Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci about their return to the screen in The Devil Wears Prada 2. Tuesday, April 28, was set to bring Chloe Cherry and a Prime Focus with Britt Clennett look at humanoid robots at the center of a U.S.-China competition.
The rest of the week keeps the same mix of entertainment and reporting. On Wednesday, April 29, RZA was scheduled to appear, and a second Devil Wears Prada 2 segment was set with David Frankel, Aline Brosh McKenna, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen and Simone Ashley. That night, Prime Focus with Deborah Roberts was also scheduled to spotlight Cherise Doyley, who was forced into an emergency court hearing mid-labor to determine whether a Florida hospital could require her to have a C-section.
Thursday, April 30, was scheduled to include Andy Serkis, TikTalk with creator Carly Weinstein and Prime Focus with Steve Osunsami, who was set to sit down with the founders of KultureCity. The group trains security at stadiums around the country to help change how the world approaches people with autism. Friday, May 1, was scheduled to close the week with Julieta Venegas.
The previews were listed as subject to change, but the through line is clear: ABC News Live Prime is using the week to pair marquee names with reporting that reaches beyond entertainment. ABC News Live is available on Disney+, Hulu, The Roku Channel, YouTube, YouTube TV, Samsung TV Plus, Amazon, Pluto TV, TikTok, ABCNews.com, the ABC News app and the ABC News Live app, giving the program a wide reach as it rolls through the April 27-May 1 lineup.
