Malkin’s point total generated $43,310 in charitable contributions, and the McDonald’s owners across the Three Rivers area matched that amount dollar for dollar.

The fundraiser has now run for four consecutive years and has delivered nearly $370,000 in aid since launching in the 2022-23 season. It ties Malkin’s regular-season production to donations for , which helps house families whose children are receiving medical treatment far from home.

He said the partnership has become a familiar part of the area’s charitable calendar, and the latest total keeps it among Pittsburgh’s most recognizable athlete-driven fundraising efforts.

The money arrives after a year in which Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh and Morgantown said it served 822 families and provided 21,059 nights of stay in 2025.
