Charlotte NC Car Accident Lawyers Group has won the Gold designation from Voted Charlotte's Best for the second straight year, earning the honor in 2024 and again in 2025. The recognition reflects sustained consumer support for the firm’s personal injury work across Mecklenburg County and the greater Charlotte metropolitan region.
Steve Hayes, who founded the firm in 1991, said the award belongs to the clients who placed their trust in the practice and the team that works to keep earning it. Hayes, licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina, has spent 33-plus years representing injured people in car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle crashes, bicycle and e-bike cases, pedestrian injuries, workers’ compensation, nursing home abuse, catastrophic injury, wrongful death and mass tort litigation.
Hayes said the past three decades in Charlotte have shown him the work is never finished, adding that the firm keeps building its knowledge and resources for injured clients across Mecklenburg County. The practice operates throughout the Charlotte metropolitan area and takes cases on a contingency fee basis, meaning clients do not owe an attorney fee unless compensation is recovered.
The recognition comes as the firm also adds new capacity. Cameron Bauer has joined as an associate attorney and is working alongside Hayes on personal injury and workers’ compensation matters, including motor vehicle accidents, e-bike and electric scooter crashes, government vehicle claims, occupational disease claims and product liability cases. Hayes said Bauer’s addition expands what the firm can offer clients who come in after serious injuries.
The back-to-back Gold designation points to community votes from Charlotte-area consumers, which matters because the firm’s reputation is being measured not by a panel, but by the people it serves. For a practice built around truck accident attorneys and other injury claims, the message from 2025 is straightforward: Charlotte kept it at the top.
