, who founded the firm in 1991, said the award belongs to the clients who placed their trust in the practice and the team that works to keep earning it. Hayes, licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina, has spent 33-plus years representing injured people in car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle crashes, bicycle and e-bike cases, pedestrian injuries, workers’ compensation, nursing home abuse, catastrophic injury, wrongful death and mass tort litigation.

Hayes said the past three decades in Charlotte have shown him the work is never finished, adding that the firm keeps building its knowledge and resources for injured clients across Mecklenburg County. The practice operates throughout the Charlotte metropolitan area and takes cases on a contingency fee basis, meaning clients do not owe an attorney fee unless compensation is recovered.
