The body of missing 27-year-old was recovered from Baltimore’s Inner Harbor on Tuesday morning, nearly 11 days after he was last seen in the city’s Fells Point area. Officials were seen in the water around 8:30 a.m. on April 14, and authorities said his body was recovered around 8:10 a.m. in the 500 block of E. Pratt Street.

Oduor’s death closes a search that began after he was reported missing on April 3, when he was last seen at 1 a.m. in the 1600 block of Thames Street. Surveillance video showed him leaving the around 2 a.m. and appearing intoxicated, then stumbling and leaning against a wall before speaking briefly with three unknown people. Additional footage showed him walking west along Thames Street and passing around 2:38 a.m.

said Oduor was later seen struggling to ride his electric bicycle and was stopped by private security posted in the area. He was then last seen running northbound on S. Central Ave from Fleet Street, according to police, which said detectives were continuing to canvas for CCTV to track his movements from there. His girlfriend, , said investigators told her they had located his motorbike and obtained video of him riding it around 4 a.m. in Harbor East.

Oduor’s remains were taken to the Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. The case, which started as a , now leaves one central question for investigators: how Oduor went from a late-night sighting in Fells Point to recovery in the Inner Harbor. Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
